Our Mission
The mission of the Avon Choir & Drama Boosters is to provide support and recognize academic and artistic excellence, good citizenship and community involvement for performing arts students of Avon Middle School and Avon High School. To promote this goal, we encourage support from parents, guardians, patrons and School personnel.

AMS Drama
AMS Drama Club is a place where everyone belongs! Theatre is more than just acting—it’s a chance to explore creativity, express emotions, build confidence and make new friends. Throughout the year, we bring our school community together for three exciting productions: Drama Club in September, AMS Got Talent in January, and our Spring Musical in April. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the very first time, there’s a place for you here. Come join us, have fun, and discover a hidden talent you never knew you had!
AHS Drama
Avon High School's Drama Club affords students the opportunity to learn about and perform in theatrical productions supervised by staff members with professional experience in the field. Students who complete exemplary work and log at least 100 hours of participation in two productions are eligible for induction in the International Thespian Society, an organization that recognizes the accomplishments of students in educational theatre. The Drama Club and Thespian Troupe may attend regional and state conferences.
Our productions bring families and neighbors together, celebrating local talent and shared artistic joy.
Avon Choir
Our High School choir groups meet during the school day through out the school year. They perform several times a year. There are three groups that consist of Treble Choir, Tenor/Bass Choir, and Chorale.

AMS Choirs are open to every student in 6th, 7th, or 8th who would like to sing at AMS. There is no audition required and rehearsals are part of the school day. Events include AMS Winter CHoir Concert, AMS Spring Choir Concert, Solo and Ensemble, OMEA Honors Festival, Music in the Parks, and other opportunities to sing as they come up.Â
AMS Harmonics is an auditioned pop a cappella ensemble for 7th and 8th grade students who are involved in music ensembles (choir, band, orchestra) during the school day. Rehearsals are once a week on Tuesdays from 3:10-4:10pm. Events include the Veterans Day Breakfast, continuum Concerts, and other opportunities to sing as they come up.Â
